Year 4

Bluebell Class and Lily Class

Welcome to year 4. This year in English, children will continue to focus on improving their reading fluency, comprehension, writing style and technique.  Mathematical fluency and times-table recall are key features for year 4.  Your child will also study some exciting periods in history - the Ancient Greeks and the Romans. They will ask questions about these ancient civilisations and find out how they have influenced the world we live in today. In this year, children also learn a musical instrument  for a year - currently Clarinet, Trumpet or Guitar with Haringey Music Service.
