Parents and Carers
"The school has a wonderful feel and energy to it. It really is a special place." quote from a Parent

"Keep being as caring and understanding as you already are." Questionnaire feedback from a parent/carer

'Pupils say that they feel safe because 'the staff look after us.' OFSTED May 2017

We  believe 100% in the saying that says ‘it takes a village to raise a child’. We therefore see our
parents/carers and our community as joint educators with us in order to get the very best for our children.

Headteacher updates are held every term where you can find out current information about
the school and can contribute to the open discussion forum. The next dates are: Tuesday 27 February 2018, Tuesday 12 June 2018

Parent/Carer teacher consultations are held termly. We expect all parents/carers to attend
these vital meetings to understand how their child is doing in school and meet the teacher. The meetings are ten minutes maximum in length.
The next parent/carer afternoon is on Monday 5 February 2018

We regularly offer training workshops throughout the year on topics such as: Easy English, Mental Maths, Interesting ICT, and Young children's First Aid for parents/carers. Future workshops include PSHE, Grammar as well as E-Safety. Our reception familiies will be welcomed to phonics and parenting workshops.
