' Arts have an impressive impact on pupils' learning'

OFSTED May 2017

We pride ourselves on having an extensive enrichment programme. Educational visits, community events and visitors to our school make our school an exciting place of learning.

Recent trips include visits to museums and art galleries and theatre visits. Year 6 children spend a week at an activity centre each year (residential)Click here to see the photo presentation

We have a wide range of events throughout the year which include: violin and drum performances where children show what they have learnt throughout the term; year group performances (each year group puts on a musical show linked to their topic); professional theatre productions; end of term awards, raffles, discos, Broadwaters Got Talent, summer garden party, sports days and much much more.

Broadwaters Got Talent!  (The Willow Primary School)

Over 21 acts, the school choir and special guests performed at the Broadwaters Talent Show 2016 on Thursday 11 February 2016 at The Willow Primary School in Tottenham.
Over 55 children performed in front of Judges David Lammy MP, Jon Abbey, Director of Children’s Services, Ricardo, lead singer of Abyss, Britain’s Got Talent Semi-Finalists, and Stacey McKnight, Director of Steppaz.
A tough challenge was set for the judges to decide upon winners. Samuel Akinolo took overall first prize for his rendition of IN2 by Western as a solo singer. Second place was taken by Elizabeth Williams who performed her own contemporary dance and third prize went to Aleynasu Aydogan for her gymnastic routine.
The night was enjoyed by over 300 people including families, friends, and the local community. Headteacher Dawn Ferdinand said, “I am so proud of our extremely talented children.  Britain’s Got Talent has nothing on Broadwaters Got Talent!”
